In June 2015, John Duma conducted a jury trial in Wyandotte County District Court and achieved a verdict of not guilty. John’s client stood charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. After a jury trial where John expertly cross-examined the arresting officer, the jury found that the State had not met their burden of proof. John’s client walked out of the courtroom without a criminal conviction and with the ability to maintain her employment.
